Rollingwood Apartments Review

This is the first time in many, many years I feel "at home". I love this place! The staff and maintenance team are incredible. They are friendly, concerned and professional. They go the extra mile to take care of their residents. The apartment was ready the day before move-in to walk through. I was very pleased with every aspect of my move-in into this community. The apartment is huge for a one bedroom (1,100 sq. ft.). I also love the accessibility. I would highly recommend this… community, but you may have to get on the waiting list. This is a hidden treasure!

Rollingwood Apartments

I have not lived in very many apartments in my lifetime, but let me give you the pros and cons of this place thus far.

Pros :
Close to EVERYTHING, it's literally right off Highway 31, and I-65.
Priced well for 4BR.
Trash pickup.
TWO Pools, one is 8 feet deep.
Plenty of parking.
The two on-call handymen are almost always super nice.
The outdoor common area has grills and tables for anyone to use.
There is a clubhouse for parties.

Now for the cons.

Cons:
Close to the interstate, so if you're… in the wrong building, the noise is really bad.
Shared power bill for the breezeway, terrible idea.
No soundproofing between floors, you can hear people upstairs do EVERYTHING.
The plumbing was not tied down properly, so when any water based appliance turns on, you hear the vibration throughout the apartment.
The management is not accommodating, not very helpful, and sometimes downright rude.
All appliances are dated from the 80s-90s.
The whole apartment seems stuck in 1986.
The complex has problems with roaches, no matter how many times the pest control comes, they never get rid of them.

So, on the Bellflower awesomeness scale, I'd give it 2 Bells out of 5.
Avoid, unless the area is what you want most.
