Good experience so far
I have been renting here for a few months and had an overall positive experience. It is true, the electric bill (heat plus lights) is high, I had a sticker shock with my first bill and trying to lower my usage as much as I can, but this issue is not necessarily the apartment/building issue. My building is quiet and I do not have any complaints about the noise, this will vary depending on your neighbors. The snow removal/plowing is well organized, in my opinion. I had some, but limited,... experience with the maintenance. The maintenance was quick to respond to my request (same day), the issue was small but addressed completely and a detailed note of what was done was left at my door by the maintenance personal (Bruce, I believe). I have a small issue/suggestion. The driveway into the parking lot is not very well marked/lit. Driving in the dark, it is hard to see where to enter into the driveway, especially in the snow or rainy weather. Overall, I am very satisfied with my building and my apartment.

Love it here!
“I’ve lived here almost 2 yrs. and it’s been a positive experience for me. The apartment is clean, quiet & comfortable, the grounds are well maintained, I feel safe here and it’s a nice, quiet place to come home to.Neighbors are friendly. I love the location because it’s close to everything you need Maintenance is prompt and courteous. Overall, a really nice place to live.

Affordable in a Nice Area
Wynterbrooke is an affordable option in Hamburg. Not only is it affordable, it’s also in a nice area near the water. Jennifer from the leasing office is pleasant to work with and cares about the tenants. The complex also allows pets, which is a huge plus for me.

WORST DECISION OF MY LIFE
Where do I even start…paper thin walls, $300 heating bills, trash everywhere, smells like a pet store when you walk in the complex…it goes on. Car has been hit multiple times in the parking lot too. Neighbors dogs roam the halls sometimes. Rental office looks and smells great though!!!

I'm sorry you did not like residing at the Wynterbrooke Estates. As living in any apartment building with 12 apartments you are bound to hear your neighbors. We advised tenants of this before moving in. We do our best to keep our tenants happy. The... National Grid bills are for the heat and the lights. The bill will be higher depending on your usage. Our hallways are cleaned monthly by an outside contractor. And pets are supposed to be tended to at all times. I am sorry if you had to come in contact with someone's dog. We have that rule to help prevent that. Parking in any parking lot you have the risk of damages. We maybe get a call once a year for an issue with a vehicle, and it has been quite some time since we have had any issues reported. We keep the office looking and smelling good with regular cleanings. Had you contacted us with your issues we do our very best to help get them resolved. We wish you nothing but luck in the future.
