Do not move here

This is not a place that you would like to move. Your packages would be stolen. Front office will not be able to assist you afterwards, the gate never works never locks continually open and I moved in a little bit over a year ago. The gate still hasn’t been fixed. Also the floor floods in the apartments often I’ve witnessed several people having to relocate or move out of their apartments because of flooding due to air-conditioning so you have to choose between air-conditioning or your floor... flooding each day. Also management is poor. There’s a lady by the name of Sabrina who has some of the worst attitudes depending on the day she’s having she’s not interested in whatever concerns you may have and will simply cut you out before allowing you to finish your explanation of what’s going on and what your concerns are.

Great place to stay

Metropolitan is a nice play to stay. The staff is great about communicating, especially Daijia. She’s very sweet. Maintenance gets the job done in a timely manner and trash pick up is very convenient

Projects: RUN

I moved in 17 Sept. here are the issues I’ve had immediately upon moving in.

Maintenance Issues:
The pool is not functioning, despite being told by both front desk and maintenance that it was open and operational.
The master bathroom was unusable for 9 of my 13 days:
The master tub did not drain water.
The master tub faucet was not attached to the tub.
The water did not properly switch between tub and shower functions.
tub dirty and soap stains.
The dryer does not dry clothes; a small load...
takes 3+ cycles
Bathroom vents do not work in either bathrooom.
The master bedroom door hinges was loose to the point where you have to lift the door to close it.
The blinds are broken, missing, and held together with tape - mutiple have already fallen off that I have had to put back together.
The guest bathroom sink (right side) did not drain properly.
The cord to the master bedroom ceiling fain is broken - pulling it feels like the entire fan might come down.- the light don’t work either.
The guest room closet door knob comes off completely.
Master bedroom closet squeaks really loud.
Additional Complaints
The refrigerator was dirty, with MOLD around water dispenser, mold on top self of freezer was thick and all over, hair, stains inside, and ice buildup in the freezer.
The stove burners were not cleaned and are badly stained.
The carpet was visibly dirty, with noticeable furniture imprints from the previous tenant
Baseboards throughout the unit are filthy.
Windows do not open in the front room.
Windows in the apartment are extremely caked on with dirt, dust, spiders, and other insects.
-Balcony is filthy.
-I am extemely concerned about security and safety:
-My neighbors appear to have suspicious, potentially illegal activity occurring regularly.
-Most concerning of all: THERE ARE ROACHES/ I've seen them entering from the hallway and appearing in entry way and all throughout apartment and complex. -They do no spray consistently like they say. I currently haven’t been serviced in about 5 weeks.
-They enter in and out of apartment without ever saying why.
-The garage is linking with broken pipes everywhere. And some pipes drainage will stain your car.
-The management does not respond when you report anything and there is only one maintenance man.
-The hall constantly smell of urine, poop, and trash
Also no seal from the outside. None of my windows are sealed nor are my doors properly sealed .

Improvements

I recently moved into this apartment community and have already noticed significant improvements under the new office and maintenance team. The management company is clearly dedicated to making this property better, and their efforts are showing. The new office team is responsive and helpful, addressing any concerns promptly. Maintenance requests are now handled efficiently, and I've seen upgrades happening around the property that are refreshing and much-needed. It's evident that the management... company is putting in a lot of work to enhance residents' living experiences. I'm excited to see further improvements unfold and would recommend this community to anyone looking for positive changes and a responsive management team. Keep up the great work!

Do not stay here…renters beware

I was charged a fee for a carport replacement they claim was fairly new after I lived in the apartment for over 3 years. They even said the carpet last normally about 5 years. I was never notified of the charges from the apartment complex and only saw it once it was on my credit report as a collections claim. Never receive the documents requested in a timely fashion. They did not utilize the forward addressing or information provided to them. There were several issues with leaks in the... apartment which also resulted in damage that they never fully fixed.
