I Lived at this Apartment Complex for 2 Years and Now My Clothes Smell Like Cigarettes
My brother and I lived here for 2 years because, after the first year, the new management started to show some improvement. However, we quickly learned that things were NOT getting better.
When we first moved in, each of our cars was broken into, and several items were stolen. So, make sure you lock your doors.
Last September, I submitted several complaints about the walkway to our apartment being flooded by the sprinkler system. We moved out in July, and the problem was still there, with... nobody acknowledging it.
Water would randomly shut off without any sort of warning from the management.
The apartment smelled like cigarette smoke the entire time we were there. (To management's credit, this January they implemented a "No Smoking" policy, which was almost never followed by any of our fellow tenants.)
Also, as an added bonus, if you go out around 12-3 AM, you might spot some homeless people digging through your dumpster.
If I have anything positive to say, I thought the maintenance crew was pretty chill.
Remember, life's too short to settle for a subpar apartment. Seek a place that makes you excited to come home – and trust me, this isn't it. Happy apartment hunting!
