What no one tells you when you are interested in buying or renting here is the amount of crime that occurs on a regular basis in this complex. Units are robbed in broad daylight, cars broken into and vandalized, and former residents keep their keys to access the pool. It’s common to see the pool being used by groups of 10 people, using the grill, music blasting, who can’t say what building they’re from. The majority of units are rentals so the residents don’t have a vested interest in the... community or respect for neighbors. None of the information on this page is correct. According to the management they have no one bedroom rentals available and put me on a "list." They don't answer the phone when you call and the hours and days they are open are incorrect as well. I was excited to be able to maybe live here but now the chance of it happening is slim to none especially this what I've experienced so far.

I am a new tenant and new the Ahwatukee area. I visited Portofino on a Saturday and got to see a condo I fell in love with! The lady I originally met with was filling in for the Property Manager Tanya, she informed me that she will be the one to follow up and work with me in the move in process.

I got to speak with Tanya that Monday and we started the move in process, somethings came up on my end and I was not able to continue to hold the condo and move forward. Of course I was bummed but... Tanya did let me know that she would keep me in mind for other openings, and would like me to contact her when I was ready to move forward. Of course she would was not able to continue to hold the condo for me, but she did follow up with me and kept me updated on potential tenants interested in the same condo as I was.

A couple of weeks later I was finally ready to move forward. She was glad that it worked out in my favor and we started the move in process yet again.

I work for a Federal Government Contractor and my availability is limited during normal business hours, but she still worked with me and my schedule. I soon figured out that she understood my schedule because her schedule was just as busy. She is 1 person managing 165 units, including maintenance requests, unit viewings and everything else that her job requires. I am thankful to have had Tanya work with me though this process. I finally met her the day of the move, she was nice and had everything ready for me. It was a quick process to get everything signed. She handed me my keys and I moved in. Ive lived at other properties in the past and have NEVER had ANYONE work with me they way she did!

Our company is in the process of relocating to the Ahwatukee area and I already have referred Tanya/Portofino to my coworkers who will be relocating with our company as well.

there has been a total of four attempts to view these condos. The location is prime for both my husband and I, as well as our daughters daycare. Everytime we go the leasing office is locked for hours at a time. We have even run into current tenants who love the location but are frustrated with the current management. The maintenance man was kind enough to let us into the club house to let us out of the heat. The manager was on the phone and extremely rude saying she was to busy to talk to us.... Im not sure what was to busy for more money, but i have worked in the customer service industry for over a decade and as beautiful as the area is and the photos are i would not move there for the shear fact of the manager of the property is the face of the complex and company. If thats how she treats people before they are tenants, i can only imagine how it is to have an issue fixed. Read More
