The people in the office are what makes this a great place. Very friendly and helps you find what your looking for! I moved in a year ago and you can really tell how much work and effort has been put into this place. Yes the neighborhood is alittle worrisome but having ON-SITE security makes is even more secure here now. Maintenance are always efficient and get the job done in a timely manner. I loved it when I first moved there, but they changed management. No more monthly newsletter or community activities or neighborhood watch or locked gate. I had a 2BR apartment and my mother had a 1BR. No walk-in closets. The ancient basketball court is fenced and locked. Tennis court? Really? Clubhouse and wheelchair accessible are true. Some renovations are currently in progress, and they did empty and clean the pool. There are no washer/dryer hook ups. People from the outside who do... laundry for a living come in and take up all the washers and dryers. People let their kids open the dryers so your timer runs out with your clothes still wet. The first person I delt with I'm the leasing office was wonderful, then was replaced by a woman on a power trip. When in call foe maintenance they enter my apartment without even knocking (I work at night and am sleeping only to wake up to a strange man in my apartment). The office is now hostile and impersonal - and they keep changing the cost of my rent.
If you don't have the patience of a saint, I it's best not to rent here.

Villas at Roger rd. is a great place to live. If you are looking for affordable rent in a good neighborhood this is the place. They are fixing up the place and it is looking great. I haven't had any problems with bugs and maintenance requests have been fulfilled in a pretty good timely matter. Staff are pleasant and help you when needed. Laundry room is okay. Good be kept a little cleaner but over all the machines work great.
