worst complex in Yuma

If I could give this apartment complex 0 stars I would. Upon signing the lease, management informed us that we would be getting a newly remodeled unit, where the carpet was removed and new wood floors were installed (as advertised as well on their website). We were not from Arizona, so we were not able to see the unit prior to moving out of state, therefore we trusted management based on what they told us. Come moving day, the carpet was still there with no plans of remodeling, and we were told… that this was our unit. On the day of moving into the unit, the cleaning crew was still occupying the space, delaying our ability to move in our belongings. Upon inspection of the unit, the fridge shelves were broken and had to wait two weeks to get an OLDER model fridge. We filled out the inspection form with all the worn down issues in the apartment requiring fixing, nothing was addressed. The water was shut off almost weekly, random days and times. They inspected your apartment twice a month whenever they decided. Granted, that may be their policy, however for somebody who works from home it is beyond inconvenient. USPS no longer was delivering packages door to door, and instead had to drop off the packages in the office. This meant we can only pick them up during office hours which was not feasible as we both worked full time, 6 days a week. This resulted in the packages being sent back to the post office requiring us to pick them up. They will not make clear certain requirements upon moving out. Most apartment complexes require a 30-day notice prior to move out date. We had given them our move-out date a year in advance, however reminded them 45 days prior to move out date. This resulted in a one-month's rent owed due to it not being 60 days prior. When we confronted the front office about this issue after they had sent us a letter giving us a month to pay the remaining fee, they stated that our remaining fee was $0. We later received a letter from collections reporting the amount owed. The two women that work in the front office do not communicate with each other regarding tenant issues. The office is not always open during the stated hours of business. Many times we have tried to go to the office in the middle of the working day, and the door was locked with no notice. After knocking, one of the women will come and unlock the door. Professionalism also seems to be lacking when communicating.

Staff is amazing!!!!

Stephanie took her time to make sure that I had all my questions answered. Very friendly, polite and professional.
I could see myself actually living in a community such as this. Great location and so many great restaurants/shops in walking distance.

No matter what, they will withhold your deposit!

Get ready to deal with unprofessional and unethical management practices and behaviors from both the River Park Apartments and the CAM Properties. Actually, it seems it is their company's practice (CAM Properties) to withhold residents' deposits for things that are NOT marked in the inspection sheet and without any explanation, just naming them as "other miscellaneous cleaning costs". FYI, I rented a carpet vacuum cleaner and made sure the apartment was clean
not to be charged of any cleaning… fees. And yet I was charged without any justification.
For this reason, I was trying to file a report against the manager of the River Park Apartments for at least 10 days and her immediate supervisor, who is the regional manager (CAM Properties),
was ignoring my emails and phone calls. My understanding is that the regional manager is
fully aware of and approves these unethical and unprofessional behaviors and practices.
On top of that, the manager of the River Park Apartments is NOT really aware of what is included in the leases, since she was strongly insisted that there was a part in my lease stating that I had to hire a professional to clean the carpet. She wasted at least 30 mins of my time trying to find it and obviously she found nothing, because there was no such a statement in the lease.
Overall, be extremely cautious when you deal with the River Park Apartments manager, as well as the CAM Properties regional manager. They do NOT appreciate their residents, since their customer service does NOT exist at all. If you choose to go with these people, good luck to you.

Living at a resort

Like a resort! The facilities are nice and relaxing. The staff are the nicest! The staff are extremely helpful and try to make everyone smile! I love it here! I'm proud to call River Park home and the staff my friends.

Oasis in the desert!!!!

5 months ago my family and I moved here from California. There are a lot of choices in apartments, but luckily we chose River Park. We absolutely love this place! The environment is very safe and friendly, a huge plus because I have two young children. The staff is amazing! Alex and Jennifer in the office made our transition an easy and pleasant one! Any work orders are handled immediately.
The pool is always clean and cool, they have a bbq set up and volleyball court as well. Pets are welcomed… , and they get to play in their large pet park area. I definitely recommend River Park if you are apartment hunting ??
