Second, take some baking soda and lavender oil (or any scent that you enjoy) and mix them together in a bowl. TIP: For every 1 cup of baking soda you use, use 4 to 5 drops of the scented oil. After you have mixed the baking soda and oil, put it in a sifter and sift the mixture onto your mattress then let it sit for an hour. After an hour, use the hose of your vacuum and vacuum the mattress. The baking soda removes dirt, oil, moisture, and odor. It also deodorizes the mattress and the scented oil leaves your mattress smelling extra clean. It is recommended that you do both sides of the mattress. Voila, now you have a clean mattress!
