1. Visit ForRentUniversity.com, and enter your college name in the top right corner. Your college should auto-populate in the drop-down menu.
Individual Lease: This means the lease terms and conditions are set per person. You and your roommates will share common areas, but you are only responsible for your personal lease agreement.
Joint Lease: Everyone is equally responsible and obligated to the lease terms and conditions.
3. If you know what you’re looking for, you’ll love the sort by preference feature. This includes sorting by distance to campus, prize, or alphabetical order if you’re searching for a specific community.
4. Don’t forget to hit “Show Map” to map out all of the apartment communities. “More Search Options” will allow you to narrow down your search by apartment amenities, community features, parking, pets, and property types. Once you make your selections, hit the orange submit/update button to refresh the list.
5. When you select a community that interests you, be sure to scroll through the photo gallery, featured amenities, and browse floor plans. Once you’ve found the right apartment, you can contact them directly by filling out a card to check availability o via phone, fax, or at the apartment community itself – whatever is easiest for you! Everything you need to know including business hours and directions are included.
