The Three Crowns Apartments

There are a lot of hidden issues in this apartment building. If you're thinking of renting, ask them to show you the laundry room and look inside the washer/dryer machines. The smell alone will have you thinking twice. Pull back the rubber part of the machines and I doubt you'll want to live here.

Management is never reachable. Just a really poorly run place.

The management is very sketchy. They kept a chunk of our deposit wrongfully, saying we did damage to the paint that we didn't do. Don't risk losing your money to them. They also accidentally sent us the personal information of another tenant with the explanation of why they were keeping our deposit. Total disorganization. And the rent seemed low when we moved in, but as soon as we hit the one year mark they raised it as much as they possibly could, which was several hundred dollars per month... more.

While we lived there, the management was totally inaccessible--messages we left on their voicemail were never returned and often the voicemail was full. Not good in case of emergencies. We moved out about four months ago and they have refused to change the code on the door buzzer, so we are called every time the new people in our unit have a delivery. We've left them tons of messages asking them to fix it. No response whatsoever. We continue to be harassed every time the new residents of our unit have a delivery.

Also, the building suffered a big fire a few years ago and some of the units are still dealing with mold due to the water damage from putting out the fire. Be careful! Read More

Finally they replaced the horrible, disgusting old laundry machines in the nasty dusty laundry room, and the brand new ones have not be usable for over two weeks! With no notice or apology from management or any warning or any compensation. The box to add value to the laundry card has been removed, as I suppose they did not install it right. The management is horrible to the residents here, disrespectful, ignore us, and the message machine to talk to them or make a complaint is ALWAYS full. It... is also extremely loud because of the hard floors of the people above our unit. We can even hear their dogs walking across the floor. Also they are always entering our unit on short notice to show the mortgage holders. Maintenance man is nice and attentive but everything is replaced with the cheapest possible part and so breaks again frequently. Older building but a great location! 2 bed 2 bath carpeted building, an apartment in the building caught fire last year and the water damage evicted residences from the floors below and the building is still recovering from the damages. We also had a number of break ins in our car garage last year, my bike and a few of my packages got stolen as well, our landlord has put up security cameras to help monitor everything but a couple of tenants have still reported stolen packages.
