City Lights at Town Center

I first moved into City Lights in 2012 and absolutely loved the community. The staff is incredible, the amenities have only gotten better, and I’ve made so many friends here. I ended up moving out into a different complex and knew I needed to go back to city lights. I’ve been back for a couple years now and never want to move. The maintenance staff is great and Hayley in the leasing office is always extremely helpful. I love my apartment and I am so glad to have found this complex!!

I've had a great experience living at City Lights Apartments. One of the biggest advantages is the convenient location being right next to the town center. You are able to easily grab groceries, get a coffee, find new restaurants and run errands without having to drive very far. The community has also made several updates to the amenities, and the refreshed spaces feel modern and well maintained. I especially appreciate the abundance of parking compared to many other apartment communities in the... area. It's been easy for both residents and guests to find parking, which is a huge plus.

Overall, City Lights offers a great combination of location, updated amenities, and convenient parking. It's a comfortable place to live and a great option for anyone looking for an apartment in Aliso Viejo. Read More

My wife and I feel so incredibly lucky to have been part of the City Lights community for two whole years now. We just signed our third lease and are super excited for another fantastic year here!
Laura was a true blessing after we had a place close by fall through at the last minute back in 2024. Beautiful unit, move-in ready on the spot.
Devin is seriously our go-to person for anything tech and portal-related! From getting new accounts set up to handling any of our existing ones, she's... absolutely amazing and totally essential.
It feels like Sam and Jesus are always there for you whenever you need them!?
It's almost like they live in the office or just have this amazing sixth sense for helping out with perfect timing. So awesome.
Oh, and Hailey! We were actually looking at one of those super popular units that we'd initially heard would take like, 2 to 3 YEARS to even apply for.
As soon as someone decided to pull out of the gorgeous corner unit overlooking the park, she remembered immediately, and we are so stoked to be moving in a couple months after asking.
Shea Properties staffed this community with the best, and it shows everyday.

We truly love living at City Lights at Town Center Apartments. This community feels very safe and well-maintained. The property is always clean, and there is so much greenery around — beautiful trees and landscaping make it feel peaceful and welcoming.
There is plenty of parking, which is very convenient. The complex has three swimming pools, great walking areas, and it’s perfect for families. The location is amazing — parks and a shopping plaza are within walking distance, so everything is... easily accessible.
The apartments themselves are beautiful and comfortable. The layouts are great, the conditions are excellent, and the pricing is very reasonable for what you get.
What makes this place truly special is the leasing office team. The managers are always helpful, professional, and responsive. They genuinely care and do their best to resolve any issues quickly and smoothly.
Recently, we needed to transfer from a larger two-bedroom apartment to a one-bedroom within the same complex, and the process was handled professionally and efficiently. We are especially grateful to Hayley Olhasso for her outstanding support, professionalism, and kindness throughout the process.

City Lights Apartments are extremely noisy and poorly maintained. Management is unresponsive and shows little concern for residents’ complaints. Despite the high rent, the quality of life here is very low.
