Mira Vista - Outstanding complex
I no longer live in this complex, but I moved into this complex about six years ago. It was locally owned which was a plus to me. Due to health (stairs) and financial situations I only lived there for about two years. That said, it was the best property I've ever occupied. It has, unfortunately been sold twice now since I moved. The original manager is still there, however, and he is an outstanding manager. Marcus keeps everything repaired, the complex has a special designation from the... police department as to safety implementation (lighting, etc.). It was the safest place I've ever lived. Background checks are required. The grounds are beautifully kept. The laundry room is well maintained. Wild parties are not tolerated. I still miss the complex because I now live in a complex that is designated for seniors, but younger people have been granted admission and within the past two years has become a drug mecca. Young people, on parole, have moved in, fights, constant drug buyers in and out within a few minutes, homeless people spending the nights in one of the common areas. Residents, who can afford it, are leaving. Nothing seems to being done about it. I really miss Mira Vista and the excellent management.
