Never Rent Here!

I have lived here for a little over two years now. In that time one of my showers has only worked about 3 months. Despite repeatedly asking management to fix it. I have had both my bedrooms flood each and every single time it rains. Again, I have repeatedly asked for these issues to be fixed. I have had personal property damaged due to the flooding. The plumbing goes out all of the time and on multiple occasions I have woken up in the middle of the night to the bathrooms flooding and there being... inches of water on the floor. The manager still doesn't do anything about it. Each time I ask for something major to be fixed I am met with "oh, okay...we will get someone here asap," and a blank stare from the manager Mike. Then repeat for months until something is finally done...if it is ever done. The manager's children all live in apartments within the complex and his grand kids run around freely banging on windows, yelling, etc. with absolutely no adult supervision. The appliances also never work. When I first moved in I could smell that there was a gas leak, but the manager insisted there was not and the gas was shut off. I immediately called the gas company who sent someone out within the hour and they confirmed that there was indeed a gas leak.

I would not recommend these apartments to my worst enemy. Let alone for the price they ask for them.

Oh, and that's another thing. The owner of the company will wait months to renew your lease then suddenly raise the rent by hundreds of dollars. The owner even lied to me and stated that everyone would be getting a large rent increase, but nearly 8 months later...i'm the only one, which I have confirmed with neighbors.
