Pacific Garden Apartments

Parking is dreadful, especially in the evenings because of the bar on our street. There are homeless people constantly hanging out across the street from the complex. They have been known to roam through the complex after dark. Many times you can hear them arguing with each other or anyone who passes by.
There’s one particular man on a wheelchair who causes havoc every other week. He will block the street with his wheelchair and does not care if he’s in your way. He’s had multiple altercations... with the police but they never take him away because he’s mentally and physically ill. Once you’re familiar with the area, you’ll find him as far as Beach Blvd most times. He’s always on our street because his family lives in the complex across the street.
Oh, and literally just the other night, hand to God, I found a drunk couple having intercourse on the lawn in front of my neighbor’s patio. I called the cops, but they got shooed off by some other neighbors. Disgusting. That is not a normal occurrence, but they were quiet, I only happened to see them because I stepped outside for a random moment. So, really... it could be normal, we couldn’t know for sure. With the bar having moved to our street, it just made living here slightly worse because the homeless people have always been an issue, but it just recently became unbearably annoying. It’s especially annoying living here when people leave the bar. Many are loud and obnoxious as they make their way to their car. For some reason a lot of the customers like to park on our cul-de-sac instead of the parking provided at the bar. Most times, it’s because their parking lot is full already.
The pros of living here:
7 Eleven is walking distance and there’s a laundry mat right next to it when all 4 of the washers and dryers in the complex are taken. If you enjoy going out, the bar is right next door. You wouldn’t need a designated driver. They’ve designated the old pool area into a smoker’s area. For the price, those cons I listed don’t seem that bad. Read More
