Canoga Island Village

I do understand that the fact you live in Canoga Park there is no safe apartments to live in. Its not my usual living in areas like these. Tons of gang related acts. Lots of graffiti in the brick walls by the alley and walls in the outside of the apartments. Roaches starting to come out due to the summer season and also ants. Loud neighbors. But overall this was the last resort for me and my partner. We were trying to find a place a day before. The outside looks pretty bad but the inside is okay... , pretty decent. The managers are there when you have issues. But other than that just be safe outside these apartments mostly if youre next to an alley. My family lived here for almost 4 years. At first it was nice but later on it got worst and worst. Roaches, leak, molds, children playing outside with balls-very noisy, one time they broke our window and my sister was there, she got hit by the broken glasses, tenants that are non compliant with the rules with parking, I almost had a fight with the person who was blocking my car in the parking, I couldn't get out. This place is dirty, the pool, the outside is always dirty. Not safe, people... taking drugs, and history of killing! And the worst is, the management is useless, they won't do anything! Lived here for 3 years and couldn't do any more after that! I don't know what is worse, management; the roaches management doesn't take care of, or the gang activity and constant drugs everywhere!? The building always has some sort of craziness going on. Neighbors are loud. The owners don't care at all they just want money. They raise rent annually also, not worth it for this dirty, infested, gang related building. DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!!

I've lived here since I was 5 now 26. Everyone here grew up together and the apartment complex is very kid and family friendly. Two large pools and plenty of room for kids to play and grow. I love living here and it's close to teo nice gyms and plenty off food and shopping.
