Meadowbrook Apartments

Been living here for approximately 6 months and the experience from first contacting the property, to signing the lease, to finally moving in and settling in has been flawless. The property managers are available whenever you need them, maintenance is performed in a timely matter and the neighbors are all extremely friendly. This complex is seriously an incredible hidden gem, I recommend to anyone looking for a place here in Fresno.

Left a message to request an appointment to check out their available unit(s). Received a text message back that said I was more than welcome to see the grounds but was not allowed to view the available apartment. I responded with “so I’d have to rent it sight unseen” and was told no one ever sees an apartment before renting.
I will not be renting from this place, and it’s too bad they look beautiful and are located well for me. But moving into an apartment I need to see what storage and layout... looks like before renting.

I have lived here over 8 years now. There are two wonderful ladies that run the office and do there best to stay on top of all the demands of the day. I usually share my needs thur emailing on an app we have for this property AppFoilo they call it. Its wonderful to pay rent on line and maintenance requests. We all have busy lives. I love my 2 bdrm & 2 bth unit. it's very open larger floor plan I think 1100 sq. ft. 2 walk-in closets for the master. & the other room a large wall closet. it's not... short on space at all. The grounds are kept like a garden setting. Oh and maintenance request are well under a week times to fix or faster. Depending on the need I think. Large apartments, decent area, single story, lots of storage, W/D hook ups (outside), which is fantastic. However, the lady that manages the apartment can be extremely rude, when making requests for stuff. Maintenance takes far too long to get done (month on average). They focus on remodeling apartments rather than their current tenants. They have numerous rules through out the apartment and overly invasive for any complex management. I've lived in this complex for over a year. The outside is fantastic: beautiful trees and shrubs everywhere you look. The pool is well maintained but the complex wastes water like you wouldn't believe on the lawn, down the sidewalks, and even out the parking lot! The apartments themselves are not that great. The doors and windows are crooked, our ceiling has been patched (noticeably & with sloppy patchwork), & the majority of our reachable outlets are too loose to use without taping the cords in... . Our fridge does not maintain its temperature, our bathroom vent has never worked (they've been out 3 times with no improvement), and the gap under our screen door is so big snails can easily get under and attach to our door. Not to mention the waterbug cockroaches that are attracted by excessive amounts of water. The manager originally promised us a new sink before we moved in; it's been 14 months and our original leaky sink sits their like a bad reminder. For the money, it is a very nice neighborhood. For the space and condition of the apartment it is not worth it. The biggest asset is the backyard and that's not something to be proud of. If I knew this before I moved in, I doubt I would have.
