well managed apartments
You want to live in a space where you feel comfortable and safe knowing your neighbors and management cares. A very welcoming community and a well maintained building. I lived here for over 4 years and I would never anywhere else in Hollywood.

Living here is a nightmare!
Constant renovations, and notices. Right now they are doing full repiping in the whole building including inhabited apartments. They hammered holes onto the walls in our apartments to change all the water pipes. The holes are covered with paper for weeks. The water has been shut off for many days in the last 2 months from 8:30 AM until 5:00 PM. Since the replumbing, the water is smelly and undrinkable in the whole building. I don't have a peaceful day here.

Lovely Manager
Nice change from the Landlord, building, and manager than I had previously. The place might be a little dull at first but inside the apartment is quite nice for the money. Great layout and Rhonda is a doll. She's stern but truly a sweetheart and will make your move easy and as comfortable as she can. The prices are bar none in hollywood. This place maximizes you money and the people seem pretty nice too not sketchy or party people which is nice. Close enough yet far enough from hollywood Blvd... noise from the street is minimal even though Hwood Blvd is the cross street.

Well run, just understand urban living
Well maintained building in the heart of Hollywood. Close to the 101, you can go to Downtown LA, or north to North Hollywood or Burbank easily.
The apartments come with air conditioning and assigned parking. The current Property Manager deserves a Nobel Prize for working so hard to keep the place in good shape. Repair requests are fixed within a day. This is Hollywood, so we get our share of flakey, loud tenants, but the Manager is polite but firm. I was worried the building would be... obnoxiously noisy, but I'm surprised how quiet it is.
Just remember this is urban living - there is plenty of noise, just not loud parties at 2 AM. If you're used to that, or can get acclimated, it's a good spot to live in. There is obviously a lot of restaurants and clubs around, but you can actually walk to several grocery stores and convenience stores nearby. Also, this is Hollywood - I was in line at a CVS and the guy behind me was in a Chewbacca costume. He was buying toilet paper, which he must use a lot of.

Good until I got roaches
Overall good. My view sucks (translate - wall of the parking garage next door) but super-cheap given the amenities included (air conditioning, dishwasher) which aren't found in many price-comparable units. Repairs have always been done fairly timely but sometimes not, depending on the priority they place on it. Safe with good neighbors.
