Scammers

Most unorganized and suspicious apartment I've ever applied to. Don't waste your time with applying!! They do not honor their own policies or the pricing listed at the time of your application. Instead, they’ll present you with a completely different (and higher) rate, which they continue to increase as they drag out the application and move-in process.
The staff consistently acted confused or unaware, offering no real explanations other than, “Oops, I was looking at an inaccurate price.”… There’s zero accountability or urgency to resolve issues. They refuse to promptly refund deposits or application fees, even when they clearly violate their own policies. Every attempt to get a resolution is met with vague promises to “check with the regional manager,” who apparently is never available.
After wasting over two weeks on the application/ 'move in' back and forth communication, I have still not receiving my refund so now am I not only without housing but also out the money I paid. They barely agreed to a partial refund and by mail only with will be sent in 21 days (if that). Housing is a serious matter, and their lack of transparency and accountability is unacceptable. Very suspicious, there's definitely some kind of alternative motive.

Good management, terrible buildings

The walls are too thin for anyone to have privacy. You hear every fight, movie, and dinner prep from everyone. Plumbing problems (neighbor backed up my kitchen sink regularly, causing sewer gas to escape into my apartment), connected toilets so that my neighbors flushing made the water level in mine drop and allowed sewer gas in. Could hear all of my neighbors through the bathroom fan. The garage door barely worked. Corners were cut everywhere in the construction project 4 years ago. Poor… quality appliances, an HVAC that was impossible to find replacement filters for. AND wanting to charge for luxury apartments when these clearly are not.

I did not enjoy my time in these apartments at all.

Laguna gardens

I have lived in this complex twice before and loved it. This time I have had a few problems with the apartment but the staff was quick to remedie the issues and very polite.

Falling apart.

•washer is breaking down constantly
•carpet nails are sticking out
•rats walking on the edge of the balcony
•garage sealing coming down
•stairs loose to come up to the apartment
•tiny balcony

Laguna Gardens, a good place to grow

Living here at Laguna Gardens has been great so far. They really love my service dog, Scruffy, our golden - doodle. The sense of community her is amazing and everyone is very friendly with lot of kids playing together. This is very important to me because we are going to be having a baby in October. The maintenance staff is very expedient in completing any work orders and all the staff here is very friendly. The grounds are clean and parking is convenient to our unit, which again is important… being pregnant. All in all, Laguna Gardens is a good community.
