Terre at Lakeside

Showed up for a tour were the leaseing agent asked to see an ID. The agent place our ID in a unlocked drawer is a busy office and said lets go look at the apartment. I asked why did you take the ID and the person pointed to a large policy plack on the wall and side it was policy.

The person gave us back the ID and we left.
The lack of personal/ID security is scary.
We also took note there were 3 people waiting for some sort of services.

The vibe is a little off and not for us.

Ever since FPI took over the property has gone downhill. Rules are not enforced, people park wherever they want with no consequences. People are loud and management doesn’t care. They recently permanently closed the back gate forcing children to now walk a extra 20 mins around and along a busy street to get to school.

They do the bare minimum on maintenance, if they do it all. They didn't cut the grass at one point for 2 months.

Well, for starters the apartments don’t look like this at all inside and outside, they are now painted partially an ugly blue on the outside. Inside is horrible. Maintenance is terrible, and lazy. The manager is really rude and disrespectful. Can’t wait to move on away from this place, it was a terrible experience here. Almost 3 years wasted.

Older apartments. Large rooms. Security guard at night. Nice pool. Small dog run. Good Manager (Jaime). Pretty quick maintenance. Usually quiet at night. Walking distance to park and stores. Walking distance to bus to Barona

I love our 2 bedroom apartment. My husband and I were coming from a 1 bedroom 1 bath at an extreme price. We found this 2 bed 1 1/2 bath at a better price. Its close enough to the freeway, which is good for us, yet far enough so you don't hear traffic. One time pet fee is a plus! No puppy rent! Plus when you renew your lease, they offer to shampoo the carpet. When I walked back in, it was like I had just moved in. It was an extra perk that made us feel good to stay.
