The building has lots of amenities including a fully equipped, high end gym with $5K Pelton bike and yoga studio, large club room with 25' high ceilings and 75" TV, and 2 outdoor patio areas with fireplace and firepit and large seating area.
Inside the unit it is amazingly quiet due to significant soundproofing and double pained windows (built for high end homeowners). Step outside and be in the heart of downtown Long Beach's entertainment zone. Everything is in walking distance with new shops and restaurants opening to accommodate the $2 billion in new construction projects in process within a 5 block area.
We are renting one fully furnished private bedroom and private bath in our two bedroom split level townhouse.
The building, unit and furnishings are a very modern loft style with 10' high ceilings on the second floor and 12' ceilings on the first floor. The high end furnished bed, dresser and nightstand are from Blueprint in Melrose.
Both of the bedrooms are equal size and your bedroom is extremely private on the first floor with it's own private bath. The living room is bright, airy and spacious and has a great view overlooking the promenade and promenade square park.
You have full access to the club room w/ 75" TV and pool table, full modern gym (including high end Pelton bike), outdoor patio area with fireplace and large seating area and HOA patio with fire pit over looking the promenade.
Our place is a high end unit with a full size washer and dryer and air conditioning. The building is extremely secure with security fob access, 24 hour security patrols, building manager and building engineer M-F. The building has additional benefits such as secure bike storage and Valet/ package lockers with email notification.
Our unit is an end unit which is extra quiet and we never hear our neighbor on the one common side. Due to our place being an end unit, the place has a view of the Promenade from two sides.
Our building is the only one in the area with ample guest parking (25 spaces) which only fills up on Grand Prix weekend and New Years eve.
We are a caring, respectful, clean, neat couple and are looking to share our condo unit with someone looking for a great deal who will not trash the place. We are friendly, but we are not looking for a best friend, and will give you as much space and privacy as you desire.
We are desirous of a person looking to rent for at least a year, but would consider a shorter rental period if it was the right fit. Our rent increases have averaged 3% per year for the past 10 years, whereas rental rates in the area have increased on average over 8% per year.
We have received inquiries in prior years from families wanting to move into the room. Sorry, but we will not accept families as there is not enough space to accommodate one, but couples are fine.
In addition to rent there is a fixed fee of $200/ month to cover electricity gas, water, trash, sewer, high speed fios internet and cable tv. The electricity bill can easily exceed $300/ month in the summer in order to cool the unit with very high ceilings.
If a reserved, secure, gated, security patrolled, CCTV assigned parking space is desired, they can be obtained from the building for around $150 per month.
