I lived here with two roommates for 2 years and we only experienced ONE interaction with management that was good which was in the beginning signing the lease. Every interaction or exchange thereafter was terrible. They would send out mass emails to tenants with very rude, condescending and disrespectful tones like we were children (we're not, we're working professionals... and many other tenants are elders and have families). Other tenants in the building also don't like the management here as... we exchange in the elevator. My neighbor wrote a message on a post-it and left it on my car on my first day living there that management sucked. Our AC never worked and over the course of 2 years, we requested maintenance and they never could figure out the problem.
Also, side note: the building is non-efficiently laid out and built by a developer with very poor taste and wanted to maximize every square footage without thinking through logical flow, program, layout manner. There are also so many dead junk spaces that could have been accommodated for living or storage. The central courtyard is never used, what a poor use of space. Also, you can hear EVERYTHING through the walls and floors, I could hear my upstairs neighbors fighting, singing, coughing and running at like 4AM!
During my move out, the management said they wanted any furniture I was not taking so I left a table and a tv stand. Upon receiving our deposit, they charged us for disposal of furniture $150, which I'm not surprised by. I was expecting them to do something shady like this. They are slimy, greedy, rude and manipulative people that truly don't care about tenants quality of life in their building. Ricky (owner) is your typical LA developer that owns NUMEROUS apartments in West LA. Watch out for this guy.
