Great location

Nice looking neighborhood, dissent looking building, but just be aware that the walls are thin. You can hear your neighbors and for some odd reason this building has an echo. It's an old building with a one pane windows, that means you'll hear people outside as well. On the plus side the rent is reasonable compared to the other apartments I've seen and the few tenants I've met seem very nice.

Great Location, Nice Apartment, Terrible Parking

I'm not really sure what the other reviews are talking about because 611 S Cloverdale Ave definitely does not have a pool on the roof. You're not even allowed to go up on the roof. Neither do you get any parking spaces.

This was a great apartment to live in for a while. On-site management is great. Any issues are fixed quickly. The apartment is very walkable to at least 4 different grocery stores. The Grove is very close by. Lots of restaurants and museums. LACMA is only one mile away....
Quentin Tarantino's movie theater, The New Beverly, is very close by. The location can't be beat and has easy access to all parts of the city. All in all it was a great apartment.

However.... Parking is AWFUL. I could spend up to 30-40 minutes circling around looking for parking. There was so much I loved about living at 611 Cloverdale, but the parking situation will never be missed. If we wanted to go out for the night we usually opted to take an Uber or a Lyft because we didn't want to deal with the hassle of parking.

Mid Wilshire Apartment

Location is great, close to shopping and restaurants. The building has a pool on the roof with awesome views around Los Angeles. There is also a BBQ on the pool deck. The staff is always helpful and attentive to your needs. Your apartment has two parking spaces included. The apartment has stainless steel appliances and lots of storage space in the kitchen.

Great Onsite Management

The neighborhood is cozy. It is in good condition, clean and very walkable. There is a Trader Joes nearby, along with several bars and restaurants.

The building itself is in good condition. They have recently painted the exterior of the building. There's also onsite management for any repairs you need. There's a very user-friendly website to pay rent and request repairs.

The apartment itself has a lot of cabinets for storage. But the proportions are a little off. I feel like the drawers and...
kitchen cabinets are smaller than average. For example, I can't fit a garbage can under the kitchen sink.

The apartments also have carpet, instead of hardwood floors. I don't mind, but it is harder to keep clean.

Also, street parking is HORRENDOUS, so its not welcoming for guests.

I do feel Essex at Miracle Mile is a great place to live, but it's overpriced. Rent is pretty ridiculous and I'm not 100% sure if its worth it.
