Good Size Units, unwelcome guests
The units in the building are a very good size for the price. The area is a good and upcoming area too. If you like to get out and explore you can definitely do that in Koreatown. The bedroom is a great size, and the kitchen is spacious for a one bedroom apartment. Lots of storage space in the unit too which is a plus. The bathroom has a separated shower and tub. I am also a fan of the updated hard wood flooring and tile in the units.
The downside to this building is the pests, roaches... specifically. It is a constant problem and it is fair to say that the building is likely infested. Management will treat the trash area , but never the entire building so the problem persists. Minimizing clutter and using various sprays and baits help to keep them out of the individual unit, but it is impossible not to have one enter your unit regardless of how clean you are.
The on-site management has not been particularly responsive to requests to fix various issues. I find it to be most effective to reach out to the company that owns the building directly to get things addressed.
The neighbors are good, pretty quiet building for the most part. The units come with a parking spot which is also a plus in LA. Street parking in Koreatown is horrible, so having a dedicated spot is a must. Still a little difficult if you have guests. I have had people spend up to 45min searching for a spot when visiting me.
