This was my old apartment and I moved for a reason
I moved July 2021 just in case anything has changed since then. The space in this apartment is nice and it has built in and stuff - very charming. The problem is the surroundings.
The neighbor next door is a musician and is very very loud when he practices. He may have moved away but double check - ask if a musician lives next door. It is very loud horrible emo pop punk music that sounds like it's in your house.
Also 2 houses down towards Melrose they built this shared living extended stay... building that is the ABSOLUTE WORST. These tenants are all "artists" and practice their "art" on the balconies by your bedroom window and you will hear all their crappy freestyle raps and horrible singing voices in public concerts no one asked for. I did hear that the city found out about this questionably legal building and all these people were evicted but I can't confirm.
The park down the street would be nice if not for the homeless people.
The building manager is absolutely useless I had to call the city to get him to fix my leaky faucet.
