El Greco Lofts

Choosing this place was my worst decision during the last decade. I have lived here for one year, and my experience was not positive:

1- Management and Maintenance teams: both are generally good and helpful, but I experienced a Clogged bathroom drain, and I asked for emergency help on Saturday, and the first response I got was on Monday late afternoon. I needed to deal with this personally. No way to get help during the weekend.

2- Security: The cameras at the building do not record, and some... sides of the building were climbed by the homeless and strangers. I informed the management, and nothing changed.

3- Laundry room: For the whole year, the building failed to repair the broken washing machines, but good news, they got new ones on my last day.

4- The fitness center is outdated and has fewer devices than shown in the photos.

5- Community room: it is not air-conditioned during the weekend, as the on/off button is located at the management office, so it is off during the weekend.

6- The studio's air conditioning is not a central unit; it is a window unit and is super noisy.

7- Noisy: My studio was located on the eastern side of the building beside the hotel. Every weekend, I was woken up by the noisy conversation between the hotel staff while they moved and collected the hotel trash from the rear side around 7 am. The weekend nights were not quiet as the neighbors at the building in the corner hosted friends, and their voices were too loud, and smoking weed.

8- Security deposit: They charged me for many wear-and-tear issues after moving out; they charged me for the window dust and the air-conditioning filter dust.

Generally, it is an overrated, pricey place, but it has one advantage, which is its closeness to UCLA; otherwise, it was a mistake to choose it. I am happy that I left. Read More

I have been living here for 9 months on a one-year lease, and my experience has been very positive. The staff are always bright, friendly, and welcoming, which made my stay very comfortable.

The unit itself is great, and I've also really enjoyed the amenities such as the BBQ area and jacuzzi. The location is another big advantage--it's close to UCLA, and the neighborhood feels safe and clean. It's also very convenient, with Trader Joe's, Target, Ralphs, Whole Foods Market, and In-N-Out all... within a short distance.

The property managers, Eric and Tom, are incredibly nice and responsive. The location is also unbeatable, right by Target, Ralphs, and Trader Joes. This is a really great spot for UCLA students.

Awesome place! Great place if you need to get work done at UCLA or thereabouts. Tom and Eric are the most amazing management team around, bar none! The support staff reflect the same care that make Tom and Eric so great. Being here will make the living part of whatever you need to get done in LA hassle free because these guys always go the extra mile to help you with any issues. I stayed at El Greco Lofts in Westwood Village for 6 months. The building is excellently managed and cared for. The managers, Tom and Eric, are very helpful, warm, and friendly. The staff works tirelessly to keep it very clean and takes care of any issues promptly. It's a quiet and peaceful building. The location is a huge plus. Grocery stores/restaurants are all nearby. UCLA campus is a very easy, short walk. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a place to stay.
