SD MANAGEMENT HAS RUINED OUR BUILDING!
SD MANAGEMENT HAS RUINED OUR BUILDING!!!!!
This company took the building almost 2 years ago. Their term began with every resident’s rent increased by $400-$500! However, their service didn’t stay at the same level established by the previous company. It’s gotten worse and worse, by every week!
The building has become progressively unsafe and unclean since SD Management’s takeover. The residents have dealt with issues like:
1. Tampered security locks that take MONTHS for the company to fix!... As a result, the residents’ cars have been broken into and there are vagrant people sleeping in the lobby and in the staircases.
2. Tampered mailbox locks have caused identify and credit card fraud for several residents! Again, SD Management took MONTHS to address the issue.
3. Offensive fascist graffiti on the premises took MONTHS for the company to cover up.
4. Broken washing machines that haven’t been replaced.
5. Residents have spent several days over the holidays with no hot water. The company was impossible to reach!
6. There is an overall increasing filthiness: soiled carpets, mountains of trash inside and outside the building.
The company’s onsite manager is apathetic and dishonest. She is difficult to reach when issues come up.
If SD Management is running your rental property -- BEWARE!!!!!

My Apartment Management company has just raised our rent with $425 at one time.
My Apartment was in a good and safe building, due to the large amount increase at one time, I cannot meet an end means. am a large family of five while my wife was not working. my apartment was only one bedroom, it was not enough for five of us. am a lower income worker with five of us sharing one bedroom apartment. my apartment needs new stove. overall my apartment was not too bad.
