The 1860 is a Complete Scam — Stay Away

If you are considering moving into The 1860, don't. Save yourself the money, the stress, and the disappointment.

From day one, the management team has consistently demonstrated incompetence and indifference to the well-being of their residents. When we arrived on move-in day with a U-Haul and professional movers, after following their exact payment instructions, we were told we couldn't move in because they "hadn't received" our cashier's check. Their only "solution" was for us to spend even...
more money while thousands of dollars floated unresolved for weeks—a complete disgrace.

After that nightmare, it only got worse. Our unit was directly under what can only be described as a squatter's daycare — constant stomping, screaming fits in the middle of the night, toddlers running wild from midnight to 3 AM, and marijuana smoke pouring into our unit daily.

Management? Useless. Despite our repeated complaints — and the fact that my wife was pregnant at the time — they offered no real solutions, only trying to upsell us to more expensive units without waiving transfer fees. They admitted they had no way to control the chaos upstairs but still refused to take responsibility.

Fast forward to today: we now have a newborn baby with severe respiratory issues who is about to come home from the NICU. Yet the manic screaming, yelling, stomping, and secondhand smoke continue — and the management still does absolutely nothing.

The building itself is just as bad: trash rooms are filthy, the parking garage reeks, and common areas are neglected. For the premium prices they charge, you’re far better off throwing your money into the street.

It's no mystery why this building remains half empty — word is getting out.

The 1860 is a total disaster. Save yourself the misery. Look anywhere else.
