The Lennox Apartment

The complex is located near DTLA.
Although rent itself is not as expensive as the newer projects, it has most of all the amendities you may need.

1. Rooms : Since it's an older building, it tends to be more spacious than newer projects. The management is saying that they are in the process of renovating the units so they can charge higher rents later on. There is some noise from neighbors but not unbearable.

2. Amendities : It has a small gym in the parking lot level with machine weights and ... 2 running machine with 1 of them broken most of the time. There is another gym at the sister building located next door with similar amount of equipments which can be accessed if resident. Also, there is an unheated pool which is still cold during 80 degree days.

3. Washer and dryer : There are about 8 washers and 7 dryer $1.75 and $1.25 repectively. Never had to wait to use them

4. Security : There is a security guard patrolling the complex 5 days of the week. If my memory serves correctly, he's off on Tuesdays and Thursdays but please confirm with management.

They try to clean their carpeted hallways as much as they can but hallways usually have some kind of odors.

All in all, according to my research, still the best for size and location.
