I’ve honestly had a really frustrating experience living at The View on 3460 W View St. Management feels extremely controlling—like everything has to be done immediately on their timeline, yet they’ll give less than 24 hours’ notice for things they expect residents to comply with.
Lately they’ve even threatened to tow residents’ cars if a guest accidentally parks in their assigned spot, which feels excessive and unfair. On top of that, they’ve been trying to clean the windows using... drones—multiple times in just a couple of weeks—and somehow the windows still aren’t clean.
There have also been leaks in the building, and instead of taking responsibility, management expects residents to pay extra for issues that clearly aren’t our fault. Overall, it just feels poorly managed and stressful to deal with.
I hope this message finds you well. I am a former resident of the apartment community and lived there for approximately four and a half years. I am writing regarding an issue involving a package that was recently delivered to my former address.
Unfortunately, I was unable to change the delivery address for this package. Prior to its arrival, I called the security front desk to notify them. The staff member I spoke with informed me that it would be fine for me to stop by and... pick up the package once it arrived.
After the delivery, I called again and spoke with another security guard who confirmed that he had seen the package. I asked if it could be placed at the front desk so that I could pick it up on Monday, and he agreed to do so. However, when I arrived on Monday to retrieve the package, it was no longer there.
One of the security guards, Chewy, informed me that he reviewed the cameras and saw a female tenant taking the package. Since then, I have been trying to reach management to discuss the situation, but I have not been able to get in contact with Michelle. I have been calling for several weeks and have not received a response. I asked the security if he can ask Michelle what’s a good time to contact her she said she don’t know.
I find this situation very concerning and unprofessional. During the four and a half years that I lived in the community, there was always someone available in the office to assist residents. I would greatly appreciate the opportunity to speak with management about this matter and understand what steps can be taken to resolve.

Worst management ever
This apartment complex is plagued with constant issues that make living here extremely frustrating. The elevator frequently breaks down and is often out of service, causing major inconvenience for residents, especially those on higher floors. Water supply interruptions happen regularly, leaving tenants without running water for extended periods.
The parking garage gate is another recurring problem—it frequently malfunctions, sometimes staying stuck open or closed, making it difficult to access.... Water leaks are common throughout the building, adding to maintenance concerns. Security is also a major issue, as there have been cases of mail theft and missing packages. If you can imagine a problem in an apartment complex, chances are it has already happened here. Living here is a constant struggle, and I would not recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable and reliable living environment.

No Capability, No Responsibility
I have never seen a management company like this who cannot answer a single question addressed by a tenant correctly, clearly and directly. This current management always uses the phrase "we will direct you.. we will forward this to.." I mean what is the point of having management on site when they have no knowledge or insight of the building. The way how they handle situations looks like they are more of a call center agent and not a manager for the building. I find this current management... completely useless. The previous management with Kevin was great and he was on top of things. I also feel that constructions on this property have been taking forever and it is still not done as some are still ongoing. I am thinking the main reason would be that they have the wrong contractors in house. So this is just being a cycle where problems and complaints from tenants rise but management fails to handle situations in a timely manner so therefore they are the ones making more people leave.
