The move-in process has been smooth for the most part, and all employees have been a tremendous help! I would have enjoyed some access to the freight elevator during my process, however it was booked the entire day! :(

We applied during a transition of employees.

Everyone is super nice, but not the most organized. If you’re applying, be prepared to hound them about progress. Also, it doesn’t seem like they are too familiar with the programs they use. We were delayed due to them not knowing how to use a service they require. If it wasn’t for us being tech savvy, we would’ve never moved forward.

Other then that, everything was stellar

Building is great, tenants are not

I love this building and my apartment except my neighbors are the worst. I know all apartment living has noise and I can deal with that but this one girl is loud af screaming at her bf in the middle of the night, throwing stuff, moving furniture around at 5am, and stomping around like she Sasquatch. She also sounds like she plays basketball indoors against the walls. I would be more understanding if it was a kid but she doesn’t have one. She’s just inconsiderate! Another neighbor lets their dog... go to the bathroom in the halls. Gross.

Also I have nothing against smoking but the halls reek of it all the time. The noise is the worst part though. I can deal with pets and smoke honestly but the stomping drives me bananas. Management doesn’t do anything to help with the noise too or even ask people to be more considerate. Too bad too because all of my friends I have over love the building too and think about moving here until they hear my awful neighbors being loud af.

My experience was poor

New management (Bozzuto) towed my truck and automatically charges “all residents” $270 cleaning fee when moving out.

I stayed in a unit that faced Hill street and had a balcony. Not the wisest decision. Constant noise from the street - sirens, honking, screaming, and engines roaring. I was sleep deprived most days.

When Bozzuto took over, they decided to tow tenant’s vehicles for parking in an area where tenants had always parked (at least since I lived there). They towed without warning. It...
cost me $600 to get my truck. And the worse thing is coming to the parking lot and not seeing your truck - I thought it was stolen and this is a place I’m supposed to call home??

Then when I moved out and received my move out charges, I was charged $270 for cleaning. When I asked them what had to be clean they simply replied saying all residents are charged a cleaning fee. Okay? That’s not a reasonable explanation.

Don’t expect to get your full deposit when you move out. The only convenient thing about this location is proximity to work if you’re working in DTLA. Other than that, it’s a dog town with it being close to 5th street. I hope your experience is better than mine.
