Los Feliz Village

I’ve been living here for almost a year. Last night, one of my car wheels was stolen—yes, stolen. The thieves lifted the car, removed the wheel, and left it propped up. When I reported it, I was told the building is not responsible.

I want to be clear: this is not about vehicle damage—this is a serious security breach. It’s absolutely unimaginable. You live in a gated community, you wake up ready to go about your day, only to find your car vandalized and your wheel gone, and no one takes... accountability.

We have lived in our townhouse-style apartment for the past 5 years. The Village Apartments are light and airy with well-kept grounds and a very nice pool and spa area. Where I live now is fair, it is not where I want to call home for the next few years. I stayed at the Los Feliz Apts for 1yr as a house-mate & helper to a friend. I currently live near there and am renting a small private room. I am dreaming of a small, clean safe & very quiet security apt for myself. I lost most of my family in the last few years- mom,dad, & my significant other to cancer. I'm just looking for a really nice, clean quiet and safe apt to call home for a time. Where I live now is... only supposed to be temporary. 49, I am planning to go back to school to earn my degree & to start my own non-profit org that raises awareness to the issues of bullying and emotional abuse. Our first home is located in amazing Atwater Village. It has its quirks. The building is located in a cul-de-sac and backed by the grand mountains of Griffith Park. Occasionally there's a waft of horse manure from the Equestrian Center next door to solidify the connection with nature. The office staff are genuinely caring and if you love kids and nerf wars, look no further. After the vigorous workout from shooting foam at each other the convenience of this apartment's location makes it easy to... quench your thirst at the many nearby bars or work on those gains at nearby eateries. To stay fit this place has its own gym, pool, steam room, and there's an awesome bike trail entrance along the LA River.
