Woodside Place

These apartments are not maintained well and there’s a huge cockroach problem. To be fair to woodside, I honestly like that there’s a lot of families, kids, music, etc. it feels much more like a community than any apartment I’ve had. That being said, the apartment itself was almost unlivable and it was very clear the company takes advantage of the fact it’s one of the cheapest places in mountain view. The floors were heavily damaged from water to the point the vinyl was coming up, the sink was... painted without a sealant so my belongings stuck to it, the shower did not drain even after trying to snake it for hair and the water starts off brown (not from lack of use every time), and the worst part was the horrible cockroach problem. The door does not have a storm shield or any way to prevent cockroaches from coming in. There’s also huge gaps between the floor to ceiling (also saw fungus growing out of my closet) so cockroaches can nest there. maintenance did send exterminators but they didn’t show up for 4 days and when they did they said there was “no evidence” of cockroaches and post spray they were still there. Our only complaint is that the apartments get hot. Like really hot. Each time we reach out to the Management about this we get no response. Ask them to change a light bulb and they come friday but if its 100 degrees at 9pm don't expect a responce.

Other than that theses apartments are great! The complex is small and quiet with a great shaded area in the middle. Neighbors are friendly and the complex is extremely dog friendly. The street parking can get a bit exciting, but get home before 8 and... it shouldn't be a problem! Read More
