Bad management

Apartment used to be nice, but has gone downhill fast. Mostly caused by willful negligence of management. I have been complaining about a neighbor smoking in their apartment for months. The smoke engulfs my kitchen in a wretched miasma. It is basically unlivable every time this happens. Mangement is doing nothing about it despite smoking being a violation of the lease terms. Apparently, my neighbor who is smoking is also an employee of the apartment complex, which may be why they are letting him… get away with it. Save yourself some time and don't even bother considering this place until they get new management.

Not Recommended AT ALL

388 Beale is run by a community that is solely interested in taking as much of your money as possible. Regardless of how you fill out your pre-move in inspection, clean the apartment before moving out, or how you maintain the apartment, their goal is to add as many charges as possible at the end (which you are not present for and cannot dispute), and take all of that money from your deposit in order to ensure you get none of it back. It is sleazy and underhanded and I was extremely disappointed… to have gone through this experience recently.

Horrible application progress through UDR

great property but horrible application progress. UDR sucks. UDR property management is horrible. They reply every 3 days or more, sometimes they just ignore my emails for forever. UDR is never reachable.
