Nestled in a quiet neighborhood just six blocks from the iconic Fox Theatre and the legendary nightlife of Broadway, the Linden provides the ideal location for a walkable commute during the week, whether you're headed to downtown Oakland or to San Francisco via BART, and convenient access to everything downtown Oakland has to offer. Although you'll be greeted by a warm community that champions inclusion and individuality at The Linden, you'll always have the freedom to retreat to your studio, which is appointed with everything you'll need for a standalone studio experience, including a private full bathroom.

We value flexibility, so you have options for everything:
* Furnished or unfurnished spaces. All of our studios come furnished, with a queen-sized mattress, couch, and TV that compliments the space perfectly. However, if you prefer to bring your own things with you, we're happy to provide you with a blank slate to make your own. Please note: if you are planning to bring your own mattress, our in-studio embedded bed frames accommodate queen size mattresses and we ask that you wrap it in a mattress protector prior to moving in.
* 3- 6- 12- or 18-month lease terms. Everyone's situation is different, so we're offering flexible lease terms to accommodate wherever you are in life.
* Optional Linen Packages. Our linen boxes have you covered. The kit consists of a high-quality set of high thread-count bedsheets, a queen-size blanket, two pillowcases, two towels, and a set of washcloths, available in standard ($75) and premium ($125) sets. Click the link for more details.
A conventional security deposit or small monthly fee. Cost of moving to a new apartment stressing you out? Don't worry, we have partnered with Obligo, a service that allows you to forgo the conventional security deposit in favor of a small monthly fee. Keep your money in your pocket, and when it comes time to part ways, we will bill any move out charges to you directly. Simple!
Optional in-suite cleaning.We've partnered with a premier hospitality cleaning service to take great care of all common spaces and, for a small monthly fee, can pop into your studio and tidy up for you every week.
Early move-in accommodation program. A perk of a new construction building: as long as you pay your move-in fees, you can collect your keys up to 30 days in advance, on us!

You're a great fit for our community if :
* You value an inclusive community of individuals with diverse backgrounds and perspectives.
* Your total monthly household gross income is greater than or equal to 3-times the monthly rent (2.5-times the monthly rent when current debt obligations are considered) and you can provide proof of income in the form of a pay stub, offer letter, or bank statement. Pricing Explanation:
The listed rent of the suite is the average effective rent paid for our 1B suite on a 14-month lease term, including rent credits for two months base rent. Rent price and promotions are subject to change. Discounted pricing available on approved applications only and contingent upon enrollment in AutoPay. Household income requirements are based on 3-times market rent, or 2.5-times market rent once debt obligations are factored in.
