The cameras record video and sound when activated by motion, recording when they first sense motion and for 30 seconds after the last motion is detected. Smoking, events, parties, and large gatherings are prohibited. There is a motion sensor light outside the window of Bedroom 1 that will occasionally turn on during the night if it is windy. There is a shade to cover the window, but that bedroom may not be suitable for light sleepers.
