Wright Avenue Apartments

Cockroaches are everywhere! There were days I had to kill around 15!!! The hot air just gets trapped inside the apartment. No ventilation or draft of any sort. The place is ugly, old and dirty with some shady neighbors and transients.

This apartment is off of lake Ave about a mile from all the main stores. It's walking distance to a lot of restaurants. About 5 minutes from old Pasadena, and close to major highways. The building itself is older with an eclectic group of people living there from students to families to older ladies.

The positives of this apartment it's gated, pet friendly, quiet (for the most part), they're renovating the apartments so better quality rooms, there's a laundry facility on-site, and you can't... beat the price for the location.

The negatives would be you have to buy a fridge (very annoying), there's not enough parking spots so if you have 2 vehicles you're going to have to park on the street, and your vehicle can be hit by other vehicles (it happened to me that my bumper was off). One of the neighbors feeds the stray cats so there are quite a few stray cats roaming around, and if you don't have a pet I wouldn't reccommend living here since most people there have a dog or cat.

Honestly, if you're looking to transition to Pasadena and pay cheaper rent and still feel safe I would recommend this place. If you can afford the extra 500$ a month I would live in a more upgraded apartment complex with more parking. Read More
