Worst apartments ever

As someone who lived at Rancho Square with my family for nearly a year, I can honestly say this was one of the most stressful places I have ever lived.

What disappointed me the most was that we never truly felt safe or comfortable in our own home. Throughout our time here, we dealt with repeated thefts, including stolen packages, items taken from our garage, belongings stolen from our vehicle, and even packages disappearing from the parcel locker. Despite reporting these incidents, nothing was… ever resolved, and it felt like there was very little concern for residents’ security.

The atmosphere throughout the community was also stressful. Vehicles would sometimes speed through the property, and instead of feeling like we were living in a welcoming community, we often felt anxious about making even small mistakes because everything seemed to come with the possibility of a fine or towing.

The towing policies were especially frustrating. Our family experienced towing incidents that cost us hundreds of dollars, including while we were simply loading our belongings during our move-out. Instead of understanding the situation, we were left dealing with the financial burden and inconvenience.

Even when maintenance was requested, the experience was uncomfortable. On more than one occasion, we were warned that if the same issue happened again, we could be charged. As tenants, that made us hesitate before reporting problems because we felt we might be punished for asking for help.

After moving out, we are now disputing the handling of our security deposit because we believe the apartment was left clean and in the same condition in which we received it, aside from normal wear and tear. We even provided photographs documenting the condition of the unit after we moved out.

Overall, our experience was filled with unnecessary stress rather than peace of mind. Renting a home should make you feel secure and respected, but unfortunately, that was not our experience at Rancho Square. Based on everything our family went through, I would not recommend this community to anyone looking for a place to call home.

DO NOT LIVE HERE

RUN RUN. Do not be fooled by their title of “luxury apartment living”. This place is a joke. Seriously do not live here. The apartments themselves are nice but that is where it ends. The complex is incredibly loud and the management is beyond incompetent. They will give you the run around every chance that they can get. They are run by a mega management company so they use them as a scapegoat to not do their jobs and lie to you. Also, this place is incredibly expensive. They charge you fees on… top of fees. Go find a different apartment so that you will not have to pay out of your lease like I did because it was that unbearable.

DO NOT MOVE HERE! WORST COMPLEX

If I could give zero or negative stars I would. This complex has the worst management, policies and security. In the 4 years I've lived here I've had my garage broken into, neighbors harass us, I've seen other neighbors have their garage broken into, neighbors who cause insane amount of noise on weekdays and weekends in the middle of the night, and the list goes on. Management will do nothing but notify these neighbors and that's it. They have it in their lease agreement that they have a nosie… policy and will do nothing, not even a slap on the wrist. I've been complaining about the same neighbors that stomp, blast music, all day and night and not once has the complex done anything other than "notify."

Every issue you have they'll give you the run around and read the same script. They'll say "well did you call security?" Their security isn't even on sight, it's a third party that's take 1-3 hours to show up for an incident, by the time they show up the issue is gone and youre either wide awake at 3am or miserable trying to enjoy your day/evening.

I've gone through every step and policy protocol with these issues and even dealt with multiple people with corporate, no one helps and this management company is trash.

Noise is sometimes something that cannot be completely eliminated when it comes to… apartment living. According to our records, our team has been actively working to assist you with your noise concerns. Though most of the time noise complaints can be resolved quickly, there are other times when we need to utilize more extensive measures in order to achieve resolve. The team can only take the necessary steps afforded to them under the guidance of state law and the lease to work towards a permanent resolution. In these cases, we encourage our residents to contact the courtesy officer and/or police so there is a 3rd party witness to the noise. At this time, the team has not found any noise that would be considered excessive. We will continue to assist you with your concerns in anyway we can. WORST APARTMENT EVER!!

Property management- UDR is the worst. If you like bugs, broken gates, homeless, unethical charges, and an 80’s build with just paint slapped over it move on in! Please look at my google review for further inquiry. Taking them to small claims court to say the least.

DON’T RECOMMEND! DON’T WALK BUT RUN WHILE YOU CAN!

When we first moved in it was great, then after about 2 months in we realized how dark, dirty and poorly maintained the apartment was. They are good about coming to fix things. The bad part is, it’ll most likely break down again in a few weeks. The refrigerator leaks out of nowhere and the AC stops working randomly even when the temperature was at a normal temperature. The management team doesn’t care about tenants. Strangers randomly get in and I even had a drugged person loitering in the… hallway and after telling management, they simply said, call the police. Nobody picks up after their dogs and the neighbors always played instruments even though the lease clearly states no instruments allowed. Also, don’t expect the leasing agents or anyone to answer your questions until 3 days to a week later it that. After leasing there for almost a year, I’ve never seen any of their faces except Albert. He’s probably the most helpful out of everyone. I DEFINITELY don’t recommend anyone to live here.
