You don't get what you pay for.
I lived in the properties of Interstate Equities for about a year and a half. They don't have in-person property managers at the site, despite what their ads say. No one you can take an issue up with. Every now n then, you'd see a random face sitting in the office who is there "just for the week" and is unable to help with any questions or issues. They are also invariably rude to residents. I literally had one of them close the office door on my face after I requested her supervisor's contact... information. Lastly, and quite importantly, their mail storage areas are insecure and packages get lost frequently. The building doors malfunction often (and hence remain unlocked), so strangers have access to the insides. Not a great place to live at, certainly not for families.
