Beautiful historic building

I love this place, it gives me San Francisco vibes. I have been lucky enough to live here for a few years now and have had no complaints. The old management was very hard to deal with, but the new property managers have made living here at Maydestone fun and safe. Would highly recommend this to any professionals moving to Sacramento. I myself came here looking for a place to get grounded and become familiar with the Sacramento. A starter apartment if you will.... but I find myself still here and… happy.

Worst place ever

Worst place ever to live. Management was terrible. Constantly entering your apartment without your permission, and the neighbors always had a really bad smell which would smell into your apartment. The handyman was also pest control but don't trust him because he will try to charge you way more and get over Like he tried to do me even when I didn't have a pest problem. Very loud almost every night of the week especially on the weekends from clubgoers outside to police sirens and firetrucks. Not… a comfortable place to live at all. Also all the windows in the apartment are in terrible condition and do not seal so there is a constant draft and wind and it's always very cold because of this.
