Riverglen Apartments

My experience with the current management has been extremely disappointing. Communication is poor, concerns are often dismissed, and when you try to address an issue, it frequently feels like the blame is turned back on you rather than the problem actually being resolved. I have also experienced occasions where the office has closed early or management has been out of the office without any clear notice to residents. They most recently did this on the Friday before 4th of July (July 3rd) and it... caused residents to be charged a late fee for rent because of their lack of communication.

When the previous manager was here, this property was managed very differently. Issues were handled in a timely manner, communication was much better, and residents were treated with respect. Unfortunately, my experience with the current manager, has been the complete opposite. Conversations have felt rude and dismissive, and my family and I have repeatedly been talked over while trying to explain legitimate concerns.

Even more concerning, the after-hours maintenance emergency number appears to no longer be in service. This is especially troubling when an emergency occurs outside regular office hours or on days when the office closes early. We had such an issue with our oven catching fire and it wasn't addressed for two days.

After more than seven years of my family living here, it is incredibly discouraging to feel that long-term residents are given so little consideration or respect. I am honestly concerned that posting this review could lead to further negative treatment toward my family, but I also feel obligated to share our experience so others can make an informed decision.

The only positive thing I can say is that the leasing agent is great. She's kind, patient, and communicates things clearly and effectively. Unfortunately, even if she is accommodating, that can be overridden by her manager.

Based on what my family and I have experienced, I cannot recommend this complex. Please strongly consider other options before deciding to move here. Read More

I lived there for over a year and have absolutely nothing but positive experience. It was a great place for my 2 boys and I to live. I agree with the comment below regarding roaches. Like any place if your dirty roaches will find you. I never had any issues at all. The staff was inviting and super sweet. For my very first apartment as a single mother of 2 both they were nothing but great to us, same goes for the maintenance team and the security. The entire team was nice. The staff and maintenance crew are 10/10. Super fun and friendly management and maintenance respond very quick. The couple times I needed maintenance they got it taken care of the same day! The grounds are well taken care of. The noise level isn’t too bad. Kids love playing outside during the day and I’ve rarely heard dogs barking. Usually quiet at night except The cars passing by the main road and freeway can get a bit loud but the sound can be drowned out with the windows closed and heavy... curtains. Parking can be a challenge like all apartments complexes. I love the convenience of laundry in each unit and the brand new windows! There is a strict no smoking policy which is great because you don’t smell nasty cigarette smoke. No issues with bugs except the occasional mosquito/spider as expected for it being Sacramento after all. Read More

We've been tenants here for a little over a year now and so far I have had 0 of the issues that the one-star reviewer's have mentioned. The front office staff has been incredibly kind and understanding, the grounds are always well kept, and maintenance is always prompt and well done!

Terrible place to live.. run down and bad management. They put on a nice front then stab you in the back. False Negative renter history even if your a good tenant... If you want cheap rent go some place else.
