Lovely neighborhood

Quiet neighborhood, Friendly staff, Clean community, and access to all the shops you need.
We've been moved recently and we have experienced other properties, This is something we can call home

The worst place I have ever lived in San Diego!!!

In my opinion, this is HANDS DOWN THE WORST PLACE I HAVE EVER LIVED IN 30 PLUS YEARS in San Diego. I have lived in this complex for many years now. I have seen a lot of unbelievable excuses and absolute uncaring from the staff, but recently...it has gone over the top. Long story short. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY, DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME, DO NOT RISK YOUR SAFETY!!!! All the management staff does here is give us one excuse after another. Rules and regulations...those don't matter, you know those that… all of us agree to and sign in the lease, forget it! They don't enforce the rules and then the managers here blame the corporation and say "we assure you we are working on it...." "We promise you..." They lie to us all the time. They won't evict, bad dangerous and criminal tenants that risk everyone else's safety. The management will make excuses, not contact you back when you make a complaint and then kiss it off to their corporate HQ!!! BOTTOM LINE, ALL THESE PEOPLE CARE ABOUT IS YOUR MONEY!!! On top of all of that, good luck getting something fixed on time. There have been incidents here where it has taken 30 days to get something fixed that is broken in our apartments, it has taken 30 days to get fixed!!! These people won't hire enough staff, they lie all the time, they don't care and then they blame the corporation or you!!

Noise, noise, noise...

The apartments and property are decent and fairly well maintained, but overpriced for basic apartment living. Good location near lots of stores. Unfortunately, there is a lot of noise and there does not appear to an effort to do anything about reducing the amount of noise here. Trash trucks, cars with modified exhaust systems to increase the noise of their cars, landscaping crews with leaf blowers and other gas powered equipment are a constant. Unfortunately, there does not seem to be any… effort to reduce the excessive noise so it's hard to give this place a higher rating.

Great location/ Great value

Jefferson at Carmel Mountain sits in a prime location ! You can get to most areas of SD within 20mins. More importantly within 2 or 3 minutes is everything you could ever need as far as shopping or eating out! I looked at over 20 apartments when moving to this area and Jefferson was by far the best bang for my buck. The units are very nice, large and updated interiors. The grounds are very well kept, the pool is fantastic and the management is great and very accommodating. I have nothing but… good things to say about this place.
