2026 the tea here at these apts

Very disappointing experience. During my tour, the manager showed me a model unit with a balcony and told me the units were the same. Having a balcony was important because I have a dog, and I even went over my budget based on what I was told. I signed the lease before seeing my actual unit, only to find out it had no balcony. When I brought it up, the manager denied telling me that and called it a “misunderstanding.” The only solution offered was to wait two years and see if a balcony becomes… available after remodeling.

I was also told my parking spot I was on a wait-list but they changed my wait-list number and well then I found I probably won't be getting a spot this year at all 2026 it's already been 5 months

On top of that, I've dealt with roaches even after spraying, stolen towels, and security telling me they can't access or rewind camera footage. The hallways are stuffy with little to no airflow, smell bad, and the elevator can smell so bad I have to hold my breath.

Too many issues for a place that costs this much. Get everything in writing and see your actual unit before signing. I wish I had.

You get what you pay for.

While there've been security improvements here, there is an ongoing problem with people who loiter in front of the mailroom and make all sorts of loud noise every day. Apartment 100 gets their windows rattled by the loud music blaring from illegally parked cars and portable speakers. This has been going on for at least a year and neither the management nor the city has done anything about it.

San Diego has gone south in East Village

The other reviewer was too nice. I drove by at 7 pm on a Tuesday night and it was an ocean off drug dealers and pips and working women. The lower price does not mean safe. San Diego has gone south in East Village

As a Resident

Look at the picture. at the corner, are drug dealers sellers, and takers. They are doing their best to clean it up. They do have WONDERFUL staff, and employees. However, a few of the people that are supposed to be "security" are complicit in felony crimes, including rape, at the Cyprus , right next door.
