350 Union Street is clean, mostly quiet and fairly well maintained once one masters the online maintenance request system. I do not recommend renting here because of the lack of normal refrigerators, zero freezer space, and nonexistent public transit up this steep hill at night between 6:30 pm and 9:30 am. It has been difficult to keep fresh food in a malfunctioning refrigerator, forcing tenants to spend inordinate amounts of time shopping for groceries. You can't put enough food in the little... refrigerator to last a week. Shopping is even more time consuming for those of us without a car since the local Safeway closed years ago. Also, the bicycle parking is not secure and even at that, there aren't enough bike racks to accommodate a 90-unit building. Please install a secure bike cage in the garage. Thank you.

Don't move here if you (like most people) need a normal refrigerator and freezer. There is no public transit to this building before 9:30am or after 6:30pm and it's a 300 foot rise up a steep hill. Otherwise, the place is clean and mostly quiet. If something breaks, they generally fix it. There are evacuations about once every 2 years -- mostly from people burning something on their stove. If you eat in restaurants all the time, don't need a refrigerator/freezer, and have a car, it isn't a bad... place to live.
