The location:
Twin Trees Apartments feels like a good location in San Jose being right around the center of the city and only a few miles to everything. Two Costcos nearby, Walmart, 24 Hour Fitness, Movie Theater, and not too far from Oakridge Mall. Sitting right next to Highway 87 near the 280 is also very convenient.

The apartment:
The space is just right for me and my wife (~400ft^2 1BED/1BTH) but could get a little crowded with a couple of guests. To access the bathroom, you have to go... through the room which I don't feel very comfortable with sometimes (privacy invasion issue). The neighbors has been pretty quiet so I have no complaints with noise. There are no swimming pools or gyms which I kind of miss from my old apartment. The closet is big (can't give the exact measurements but it's bigger than in most apartments I've seen). Only 1 reserved parking and it could get crowded out in the streets past 5PM. No patio. No pets. Some squirrels. There are several laundry units (1 for each build) that has 3 washers and 2 dryers that operate on quarters (25 cents) but there are no change machines so get plenty of change before doing laundry (there's a Chase bank across the street). There is a nice bbq area which anyone can reserve for a fully refundable deposit. Most apartments I see does not have an air conditioner but some do.
