Infested with roaches
Lived here for almost 2 years. Constant roach problem. Called hosting about it MANY times. They NEVER answer their phone and NEVER returned my calls. My home is CRAWLING with HUNDREDS of roaches. I keep my home clean. I've bought my own pesticides. NOTHING is working. Save yourself the health hazard and find another apartment

Cockroach Infested!
The building is infested with cockroaches. I wouldn't rent if you want to save yourself lots of headaches.
Management left holes in my ceiling and walls for two weeks in my bathroom after "fixing" a leak. Because my walls and ceiling were exposed, when the leak came back, it dripped right into my bathtub. What's worse is that cockroaches came into my apartment because of the exposed areas in the bathroom. The holes in my apartment were conveniently fixed the night before a City of San Jose... inspector came to inspect my apartment because management refused to address my issues.
The Inspector only confirmed that the building had a cockroach infestation and forced management to send an exterminator.
Management refuses to address issues in person, let alone answer a phone call, and tell you that they only communicate through email. After you send an email, they don't get back to you and tell you to keep trying through email.
For the thousands of dollars that you'll spend to live here, it is not worth it if you care about your health and safety. Avoid if you can help it!

Due diligence
Before anything else, take a good look to the apartment, the stairs, the elevators, all of three of them, the "gym", the parking lot and all other areas, you'll notice cracks in the ceiling and the floors, water leaks and water stains, broken dashboards in the elevators, if they're working, missing doors in the mail room and so on and so forth. Also, keep in mind that you won't get your security deposit back, they'll charge you with a non-negotiable "cleaning fee" for the entirety of the... deposit

Not a good options
I recently left this place and couldn't be happier about leaving, there's always something missing, broken or literally on fire and you end up calling management all the time and waiting, with little to no results
