Estancia at Santa Clara

Returning keys one day before lease ends results in penalty. No one informs you of such rule. So many hidden fees. Stay away from them.

I have had a terrible experience at this community.
There has been frequent car break in and car being stolen cases and NO action has been taken from there end to improve the security. I have had to face the car break in situation and i don not understand how a gated community could be this UNSAFE.

The apartments are in a poor condition. Constantly need fixing and repairing. Terrible maintenance service. The maintenance guys are rude and hostile. They do a quick and sloppy job and rush out of your apartment. Living in Estancia Santa Clara is like living in a bad neighborhood with very low quality of everything. Car theft, gates that never works, dirty stairways, constant pluming issues, mold, dark apartments, old appliances that do not work properly, and many more problems. I generally never write "Bad Reviews" but I am making an Exception. I had lived in this community for about 4 years primarily for reason of access to Don Callejon High School. I once moved from Two bedrooms to 3 Bedroom and the move was very smooth. The Community offered me a new lease at much higher than market price because of which I foundd another community near my kids new High School. The staff stopped being freindly anymore after that point. During the Move out inspection they found a... bleach spot on near the laundry area which was already a small cutout carpet that had been installed when I moved in. they refused to give me an estimate during the inspection and told me it will be put on my move out charge. I see a complete carpet replacement charge on my moveout statement for a small 3 inch stain that could easily be fixed other ways. This community used to be an Avalon and had very freindly professional staff back then. It is a very unprofessional staff at this moment and I suggest recommend that this community is definitely not worth the high price they ask for unless you want access to the School. The floor plans are large yet not very thought out. Putting furnitiure in a liviing room is odd. Apartments near the Pool area are very noisy and have a constant Bug(ants, Spiders, small bugs etc.) problem which is not addressed proactively. The community is very proactive in asking you t clean up your Patio and you will not have any flexibility in putting furniture out there. The kitchens are white glazed tile and not even granite for such a high rent. The cabinets in the kitchen and the bathrooms are very cheap quality for such a high rent. If you don't need access to that school DONT LIVE HERE. Even if you need access to that School you are probably better of renting a home in the Rivermark community as they are cheaper. Estancia apartment located in Santa Clara, CA is excellent place to live. It has all the modern amenities included clean exercise equipment and gym, pool and well kept grounds. The landscaping and buildings are beautiful.The staff is friendly and prompt. The neighbors are quiet and this is a pet friendly environment. This apartment complex is located near Rivermark shopping development, which is in walking distance. Public transportation is close and easily accessible.
