Summit at Sausalito

This is an old apartment complex with extremely high additional utility and common ground maintenance costs. Garbage/sewer and water charged at a price for a single family house for an apartment of less than 700sf. Common Areas, Garbage collection area a mess, Pool has leaves and even dead geckos at the bottom. Jacuzzi water often green in color with dead leaves at the bottom not being cleaned. Bathrooms in the Fitness rooms are often flooded and not usable. Carpet in most units is old and cheap... . Constant work on sewer outside complex almost going on for a year or more. Constant rent increases way above the norm. Stay away, the only positive is location. I would not recommend for the total cost. Read More

I especially love the views and I'm very comfortable in my apartment.

I would not recommend living at summit at Sausalito. Our individual unit has an incredible view and the apartment itself has been ok with some maintenance hurdles (most notably sewage backing up into the bathtub), but the downsides of the property broadly have outweighed that in the last couple of years. Despite what may be management’s best efforts, there doesn’t seem to be a sense of responsibility of the community to maintain a clean and safe environment for all residents to enjoy.

I've really enjoyed my new place at Summit at Sausalito. The location is incredible being so close to San Francisco and Mill Valley. And of course Target ;) The apartment is spacious and I particularly love the views of Richardson Bay and the Headlands. The in unit washer/dryer is also incredibly nice to have. I look forward to taking advantage of the trail access and other amenities here. The leasing process was really easy and pleasant.
