TOO EXPENSIVE COMP TO OTHER APTS
TOO expensive compared to other comp apartments in area in amenities with little update from 1970s Original old windows that are rusted and frost during the winter especially kitchen window allowing cold inside. Old closet doors that constantly dislocate due to so old. Horrible original old kitchen cabinets that your neighbor can hear you opening the drawer. Cheap carpet and outdated floors.
COMPARE! Other surrounding apartment communities with similar pricing have FAR MORE updated modern... amenities. Location is great but NOT comp to other apartments. Excuse from property management in another review that remodel is difficult is a lame excuse but believe it should charge similar or more. Stuck with lease or pay. Will leave.

The worst living community I have live in. The stove is from 1960. I have been having problems with it since day one. The customer service is so bad.

All issues considered before choosing this apartment
I considered multiple issues before I decided to rent my apartment here. Firstly, closeness to Union City BART. Its hardly half a mile, so I don't have to worry about catching a bus to bart or parking my car somewhere near bart (and worry about my car all day) and no need to pay for car parking charges and of course saving on fuel expenses too and best of all, I don't have to worry about another car for my wife!
Then I loved how professionally maintained this property is. Very courteous... management with quick response to queries. Secured gated entry which helps me keep peace of mind when not at home. Apartment is spacious compared to similar quality apartments in the vicinity. Also in close vicinity of several shopping complexes including Chinese, Indian and American restaurants and fast food joints. Just a few minutes drive from walmart, costco and other shopping centers. Only thing is I felt I am paying a bit more than what I had budgeted, given the fact that few miles away from bart I could have easily saved a couple of hundred dollars a month. But end of the day, a peaceful life and quality living is what I earn for :)
