sneaky Manager/place smell moldy
I rent their first floor apartment for 1 year, the reason i want to move out because this apartment smell moldy. The manager is very sneaky. Before i move out, i wrote 30 days notice and go over with manager staff for a per-move out evaluation. The person go over the apartment told me everything looks good. I know i always keep my apt in a very clean way because I don't party, no kid, don't smoke don't have pet. The final move out day, i went back the apartment with my vacuum and Sanitizing... Wipes, cleaned kitchen, bathroom, room and closet. I give my keys back to the manager, all she said was have a nice day. 20 days later, i received move out statement, they are not only took my security deposit $350, also charged me $611.33 for repairs and cleaning fees. The 4 invoices including, refinish tub, carpet cleaning, other apt full clean bill, and 2 bedrooms 1 bathroom full paint bills. The manager knows for tenants if they want to sue 'em in small claims court, it's can be nasty and it's time consuming because most of tenants are work-class. if we hiring a lawyer, it's about $500. It'll cost me same money to pay those bill than have a lawyer to show up. Just be care just be careful, take pics before you move out!!! lesson learned.

Good place to live
I moved here in 2008 and have really liked it here. The office staff has always been nice and helpful. Anytime I have needed maintenance done they have always gotten to it quickly. The area is nice an quiet and most people are nice. They also keep up on the landscaping so the place looks good. Since the apartment is right next to the hills you do have a lot of spiders and yellow jacket/wasp. If you only have one car you don't have parking problems but if you need to park in the visitors parking... it can get full quick the later it is. The price has really gone up since I first moved here but then so has most of the area. It is a good place to live.
