If You Are A Non-Smoker, Be Cautious Before Moving Here

I moved in in April, right when new management took over the place. They are great and considerate, and a few of the old tenants have said they see positive changes at the property. However, I specifically chose this property because I love the unit and it is a non-smoking property; a requirement of mine. Day two after move-in, the three tenants below me smoke incessantly. My apartment looks like an opium den. According to California law, the tenants have to be caught 3 times, and on the 3rd… offense, they will be given a 3-day notice to vacate the property. Unfortunately, now they smoke heavily after hours, all night, and on weekends, when no one is in the office. It has made me deathly ill. The tenants know this and feel they are immune and continue to smoke. Out of the 26 requests I made to management to catch them in the act, management has only been available 3 times. They do not have after-hour patrol. I've developed respiratory infections, been to ER several times, and now must move so that I can live. So, if smoking is an issue for you, don't move here.

Rollingwood

I’ve lived at Rollingwood Apartments for a while now, and I want to take a moment to recognize the new management team, especially the property manager, who started here in April.

The apartments are more peaceful and quiet, Some people may not like that we have rules now but many of us appreciate it.

The rest of the staff has also been super kind and responsive. All the effort does not go unnoticed. Thank you for caring about our home.

don't bother to come

Don't waste your time here to come because this place has a new ownership that was bought back in April. The new manager does not respond to emails or acknowledges that she will look into or take care of it. So how do you know if she even talk to the tenant regarding if you had a problem with that tenant. Also no phone calls she returns or picks up. So how do you expect to rent this places when there is no customer service, just poorly handle. I am looking for a better place after this place… keeps getting worse and worse. A lot of problem people are being rented here as long as the place is full for the greedy of the owner.

Lies

Don't come here and rent, because this new manger does not give a crap about the living situation. Just recently with the fires we experience she has not done nothing about my garage unit. Don't fall in here false information just to convince you that this is where you want to leave. This manager has 0 knowledge is what is going on. This MGR owner just want your money and that is all. All the people that work for them are the same with the same mentally is not giving a crap about tenant. You… can call insult them is the same. The only way is moving but do to the inflation is hard

Roach nest

Paying more in rent than my mothers mortgage to live in a roach nest. They claim someone comes out to treat the units but there has been no improvement.
